About Me
In the summer after sixth grade, I stacked up a few stones in my driveway and took a close up picture of it with my phone. It was the first picture I had ever taken with a blurry background, and I was hooked. It seems like for at least the first year of pursuing photography, that blurry background was all I craved in my pictures, but eventually, my appreciation for the art began to mature and I started teaching myself new techniques for creating images. My parents started letting my use their Canon point and shoot. Eventually I was gifted an entry level DSLR with a few lenses. This turning point really started to unlock my creative potential. For the last seven years I have held my interest in photography and developed a strong skillset. The learning is never done, though. There are an infinite amount of tricks to learn in all the different niches of photography.
